The Islamic State may have happened anyway but at one point there were a lot of bombings mainly by the Shiites, who had control of the Government, and our military wasn’t making any headway. The Sunnis came to the US Military and offered their help. And help they did! Got the violence way down. After that Mr. Malachi basically though a tantrum at which point Obama basically abandoned the Sunnis. Next thing we know the Islamic State is born. George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, and Karl Rove bear more responsibility than President Obama but Obama’s policies did affect the formation of the Islamic State! Check it out.
